I have traveled to over 23 countries, but few experiences have helped shape my world view more than my first trip to Israel. The Israeli people must be defended from Islamic totalitarianism at all cost.

Northern Israel: The Sea of Galilee to the left. Seen far away center-right is the Golan Heights. This area has fertile soil for fruit trees, olive trees, and palm trees, among others. The north of Israel is green while the south is quite dry. Note: The much talked about Jordan River is but a trickle. I followed the Jordan River from 25 miles south of Lebanon all the way to the Dead Sea. I was in the West Bank for the majority of this southern jaunt.

Every Israeli soldier is required to have his rifle 24/7.

The view out my balcony at the Sheraton, Tel Aviv. This view reminds me of my trips to southern France.

Another look at the Dead Sea.

A view of Jerusalem.
